Today
Northern Ireland and Scotland will be mild with rain clearing away southeastwards during the day. Another very cold day for much of England and Wales with the rain freezing on surfaces as it comes south and turning to snow.

Tonight
Snow is likely tonight from Yorkshire across the Midlands to east Wales and into parts of the west country giving 5-10cms in places. Severe frost forming in southeast England.

Friday
The snow will peter out across southeast Wales and parts of southern England during the day. Mild again with some rain for Scotland and Northern Ireland but very cold elsewhere.

Saturday to Monday
Mild and generally dry for Scotland and Northern Ireland over the weekend. England and Wales stays very cold with some sleet or rain. Windier everywhere on Monday with some rain.
